If you’d like to join our in-person meditation sessions on Wednesday evenings but you don’t have email, please arrive at 6:30 pm.

Book Club

The Ottawa Pagoda Sangha Book Club meets about twice a month to discuss selected texts by Thich Nhat Hahn and other authors in the Plum Village tradition. Everyone is welcome! Morning meditation

Time

  • Mondays, 7:45 am to 8:15 am
  • Fridays, 7:45 am to 8:15 am

For early risers, the Ottawa Pagoda Sangha has a group affectionately known as the “Morning Glories” that meets to meditate together on Zoom Monday and Friday mornings. These sessions include 15 minutes of guided meditation followed by 15 minutes of silent meditation Everyone is welcome: Please email pagodasangha@gmail.com for the Zoom connection details.

Wednesday evening meditation

Time

  • Wednesdays, 7:00 pm to approximately 8:45 pm
  • If you attend in person, please arrive 10-15 minutes early

Location

 

 During our hybrid Wednesday evening meditation sessions, we enjoy a variety of mindfulness practices in the Plum Village tradition, including:

  • guided meditation
  • silent meditation
  • walking meditation
  • deep relaxation
  • dharma talks
  • dharma sharing

Occasionally the bimodal meetings will not be available, as shown in the table below.
