About our Sangha
Our Sangha’s was founded by our senior dharma teacher Vinh Nguyen (Chan Ngo) in 1992. Vinh was ordained as a member of the Order of Interbeing in 1987 and received the Lamp Transmission from Thich Nhat Hanh in Plum Village in 1994. There are 11 members of the Order of Interbeing in our Sangha and many more committed practitioners who have undertaken the 5 Mindfulness Trainings. In 2014 three more dharma teachers from our Sangha, Andre Vellino, Mihaela Andronic, and Laureen Osborne received the Lamp Transmission from Thich Nhat Hanh in Plum Village.

Plum Village Needs Your Support
In Plum Village and our other practice centers around the world we, too, find ourselves facing a challenge. We are dependent on retreat fees to cover the basic necessities, and while our monasteries are closed, we must rely almost entirely on the generosity of our practitioners. If you can, please consider offering a donation.
